1. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Caddex grants your organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use our AutoCAD plugin, either as a free trial under clause 1.3 or for the number of seats specified in your Standard Plan.

• 1.1 Authorized Users: Only employees and contractors of your organization may use the service. Sharing login credentials outside the organization is strictly prohibited.
• 1.2 Local Installation: Use of the plugin requires a compatible version of AutoCAD. Cloud synchronization additionally requires an internet connection. Free trial use keeps your library local and does not synchronize it. The plugin sends anonymous feature-usage events in all modes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• 1.3 Free Trial: The plugin may be installed and used without an account or payment. The free trial has no time limit. It is restricted to a maximum of 10 details, keeps its library locally on your machine, and does not include cloud synchronization, team features, or batch upload. Caddex may change the scope of the free trial for future releases. Free trial use is subject to these Terms and to the End User License Agreement presented when the plugin is installed. Anonymous feature-usage events are collected as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Intellectual Property & Ownership

We respect your professional work product. All drawings, blocks, and details uploaded to Caddex remain the sole property of your organization.

• 2.1 Customer Data: You grant Caddex a limited license to host, store, and transmit your data solely to provide the services to your team.
• 2.2 Caddex IP: The plugin software, cloud architecture, and website remain the exclusive property of Caddex.

3. Professional Liability

Caddex is a management tool, not an engineering service. You acknowledge that:

• 3.1 Accuracy: Your organization is solely responsible for the technical accuracy and engineering integrity of all drawings stored or managed through the service.
• 3.2 Seal/Stamp: The use of Caddex does not constitute a professional engineering review. All final designs must be reviewed and stamped by a licensed professional as required by law.

4. Subscription & Billing

Our Standard Plan is billed at $150 per user/year. All fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced.

• 4.1 Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 30 days prior to the renewal date.
• 4.2 Termination: Upon cancellation, your data may be deleted from our production servers. Export your detail library before canceling, as the export control requires an active seat and is unavailable once the subscription ends. After cancellation the plugin can still browse and insert details already stored on your machine, but library management, including the Detail Manager and adding details, requires an active seat. An installation that has been signed in does not revert to the free trial described in clause 1.3.
