Why I built Caddex
I built Caddex after watching the same problems repeat on every project: standard details fragmenting across jobs, the same error propagating forward into the next one, and no real consistency between designers, or between us and our customers. Too many detail review meetings were spent talking about the problem instead of the solution, and keeping a shared network drive in order was a losing battle. Caddex is the tool I wished I'd had: one version-controlled library, with an approval step, that makes the firm standard the easy choice.
